How are tools discovered and added?

AI Products for CX discovers tools through an automated daily research process that searches the public web for AI products serving customer support and customer experience teams. Candidates are de-duplicated against the existing catalogue before anything is written to the directory.

Vendors and readers can also submit a tool directly through the submission form. Submissions enter the same catalogue as automated discoveries.

Can a company pay to be listed or ranked higher?

No. As of today no listing on this site is paid, sponsored, or promoted in exchange for money, and ranking is not influenced by any commercial relationship.

We may introduce paid placement in future. If that happens, every paid or sponsored listing will be labelled as such on the page itself, and this section will be updated before any paid placement goes live.

How are ratings calculated?

A tool’s score is an average of the ratings left in reviews on this site. Tools with no reviews carry no score rather than a default one, and a rating is only shown once at least one review exists.

Reviews gathered from external platforms are shown separately and labelled with their source. They are displayed for context and are not presented as reviews collected by this site.

Where do external reviews come from?

Some listings include review summaries aggregated from public sources such as G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, Reddit and Product Hunt. Each aggregated review is labelled with its source and, where available, links back to the original.

Aggregated reviews are clearly distinguished from reviews submitted directly to this site so readers can weigh them differently.

How is pricing information kept accurate?

Pricing reflects the vendor’s public pricing page at the time the listing was last verified. Each tool page shows that date. Where a vendor does not publish pricing, the listing says so rather than estimating a figure.

Pricing changes frequently. Always confirm current pricing with the vendor before making a purchasing decision.

How often is the directory updated?

Automated jobs run daily to discover new tools, refresh comparisons, and generate editorial content. Individual listings show their own last-verified date.

Is any content on this site AI-generated?

Yes. Tool descriptions, comparison write-ups and blog articles are drafted with AI assistance from the structured data held for each tool, then published under the site’s editorial standards.

Factual fields — pricing, features, integrations, company details — come from the tool record rather than being generated as prose, so the text on a page and the data behind it stay consistent.

How do I report an error in a listing?

Tool owners can claim and edit their listing after signing in. For anything else, use the submission form to flag a correction and include the tool name and the field that is wrong.
